Gaseous compounds originating from cutting fluids are known to cause respiratory problems. With the AerOff Solution, you can reach healthy levels of cutting fluids in the workshop air already now in order to ensure workers’ health.
In Finland, there is currently no officially enforced value as a maximum concentration known for being harmful or any other health-based occupational limits for air pollutants from cutting fluids. The Finnish Institute for Occupational Health has proposed a target value for total alkanolamines of 0.1 mg/m³ (8 h).
Various projects on health-based limit values are being carried out in different countries and also at EU level. The multi-stage AerOff Solution achieves healthy levels of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and alkanolamines already today, as proven by accredited measurements carried out by the Finnish Institute for Occupational Health.
