Our Innovations

Our current technology portfolio

Our AerOff technologies can be used in a wide range of industrial environments where harmful emissions are a challenge. They share a common foundation in aerosol physics, but are designed for very different applications and conditions.

AerOff ESP

The AerOff ESP is a compact unit that combines cyclone separation and electrostatic precipitation in one stage. It is designed for environments with high temperatures, high humidity, sticky or tarry dust and corrosive conditions, where conventional ESP units are too large or too expensive.

Key benefits: The AerOff ESP achieves high particle removal efficiency across a wide size range, even in dirty and wet gas streams. The optimised electric field improves efficiency and reduces field leakage. The self-cleaning capability supports long operating periods with low maintenance.

AerOff Combined ESP and Scrubber

The AerOff Combined ESP and Scrubber combines wet scrubbing and electrostatic precipitation in one unit, removing particles and gases at the same time. Its simple structure makes it affordable to build and easy to scale.

Key benefits: The technology achieves high efficiency across a wide range of particle sizes. The device keeps itself clean during operation. The compact design makes it possible to integrate the unit into existing processes.

AerOff Solution for Machine Tools

The AerOff Solution for Machine Tools captures harmful aerosols originating from water-soluble metalworking fluids, including compounds that conventional particle filters cannot remove. Purified air is returned to the workspace. The purification performance has been validated in accredited measurements carried out by the Finnish Institute of Occupational Health.

Key benefits: The AerOff Solution for Machine Tools improves workplace air quality and comfort. It significantly reduces concentrations of harmful gaseous compounds and recycles aerosol content, such as metalworking fluid, back into use. In metalworking environments, it reduces metalworking fluid consumption, water consumption and the amount of hazardous waste.

Application example: Emission control for combustion plants

The regulation for medium-sized combustion plants with a rated thermal input of 1 to 50 MW has been tightened significantly under EU Directive 2015/2193, the Medium Combustion Plant Directive. Traditional ESPs are often too expensive for small plants. AerOff ESP technology offers a compact and affordable alternative for particulate emission reduction.

The ESP technology has potential in heavy industry and pharmaceutical waste streams as well. It can handle hot, abrasive and sticky dust in metal and cement processes, and is also suitable for pharmaceutical waste incineration.

Our AerOff technologies can be adapted for a wide range of application areas and industries. If you are facing challenges related to emissions, we are happy to explore how AerOff technology can help.
