World Environment Day is celebrated today, on 5 June. Established by the UN in 1972, the day aims to raise awareness and promote action to protect the environment.
Saving resources is one of the key benefits of the AerOff solution. In the air cleaning process, the cutting fluid recovered from the air is returned into use. This allows savings of 50-80% in the cost of cutting fluids. It reduces the consumption of both cutting fluids and water, as well as the amount of hazardous waste.
AerOff also lowers aerosol concentrations, reducing workers’ exposure to harmful compounds. Accredited measurements carried out by the Finnish Institute of Occupational Health (TTL) have shown that AerOff reduces VOC and alkanolamine concentrations well below the target levels proposed by TTL.
